A global components manufacturer is maintaining a library of over 3,000 component maintenance manuals with parts lists. None of which analyzed for standard hardware Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence.
RCM performed parts screening of the entire library, defining processes and controls that resolve current obsolescence issues. That data is available for predictive analysis used to mitigate risk of impact due to impending supplier loss or sourcing changes.
