Recent major projects include design of the MH-60S Armed Helicopter Modification Kits, Design of the soft interior of the MH-60R, and Risk reduction and preliminary design/analysis of the CH-53K Heavy Lift Helicopter Airframe, and ongoing design of CH-53K Ground Support Equipment.
Our 5 year old state of the art 25,000 sq. ft. engineering design center located in Shelton, Connecticut, was designed from the floor up to provide every producibility enhancement available. With FiberOptic connectivity to our major customers, we can transfer engineering data at a rate 6 times faster than with the traditional T-1 line. With over 35 CATIA licenses ( V4 and V5), ample Composite Part Design (CPD), SIMULAYT, ANSYS, NASTRAN, PATRAN, TRULASERview, and POINT COMPARE licenses, we can provide immediate support for any structural, electrical, or tool design effort. We have extensive experience in legacy data modification and conversion. In addition to our aircraft design, tool design and analytical groups our Shelton staff includes essentially all engineering and manufacturing engineering specialties.
