Job Responsibilities:

  • Write and update technical documentation based on customer�s specifications.
  • Research and analyze engineering technical specifications, drawings and provisioning data for creating or revising the documentation.
  • Support the accuracy and timely completion of writing and editing assignments by providing clear direction to graphics group and verifying technical accuracy of output.
  • Verifies that the documentation meets the technical requirements and specifications.
  • Creates documentation in a timely manner that meets the customer schedule and cost.

Qualifications:

  • Aviation knowledge or similar experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Ability to learn new authoring tools quickly
  • Knowledge of writing specifications, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2000, S1000D would be helpful but not required.
  • Experience in use of Arbortext Epic Editor software; experience with XML/SGML helpful but not required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing comprehensive Logistic Support Project Plans.
  • Assisting in the development of Logistic Support Proposals.
  • Conducting logistic analysis activities, which may include Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance Plan Analysis, and Provisioning Analysis for aircraft systems/components.
  • Working within MIL-STD-1388/GEIA-STD-0007 compliant Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) databases such as SLICwave or SAMS.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with job-related logistics experience for fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft
  • Understanding of the illustrated parts data and maintenance manual development process
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of aircraft systems/components, computer skills, and use of logistic software tools (SLICwave, SAMS, etc.)

Job Summary:

Work in a team environment under supervision creating technical illustrations and graphics to demonstrate manufactured parts breakdown, description and operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and schematics using a variety of established technical illustration techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed, client specific graphics specifications and work instructions.
  • Extract and interpret a range of data from sources such as technical writer change mark-ups, written instructions, engineering drawings or from individuals by asking set questions.
  • Using computer methods, plan, lay out, draw and revise technical illustrations and graphics.
  • Follow methods to best complete job.
  • Input with graphics team for process improvement to best complete job.
  • Perform additional functions incidental to illustration activities.

Qualifications:

  • One year of related work experience and an Associate degree, or two years of related work experience and a high school level education; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • One year work (or school) experience using CAD computer graphics software.
  • Preferred: Technical background.
  • Ability to follow detailed, client specific graphics specifications.
  • Ability to prepare drawings and diagrams for publication.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
  • Skills in the utilization of specified CAD computer graphics programs.
