History Conversion Approach
At RCM Technologies – Enterprise HR Solutions, we use a proven methodology to complete all of our projects. The general approach for converting historical data, regardless of the option you choose, is outlined below:
RCM can provide you with options when it comes to converting employee history. The options will give you the ability to view and report on the historical data. And - all of the options utilize the RCM library of tools, templates and programs to reduce the scope and cost of the project.
Convert historical data for existing employees into the delivered application structure. We can also assist you in converting terminated employee records for a true view of your historical data.
Create custom panels/records to support historical data inside the ADP Enterprise application, without altering existing objects. This allows you to bring historical data into the application without changing the delivered application structure.
Create an external database that resides outside of the ADP Enterprise application and convert the employee history into that database.
Timeline and Cost Estimate
Each of the above options is estimated at approximately 5-6 weeks, with one technical FTE and .5 functional FTE required from RCM. Client resources required will vary, but should not exceed one FTE over the project effort. Cost can vary based on the scope definition and level of client participation.
